Before you connect
What kind of TV do I need?
You need a modern browser and an internet connection. You can use the TV’s browser or a computer connected to it. Test your device during the trial, as built-in browser capabilities vary.
What happens when a beer or price changes?
Update the tap in your account. Online screens showing that tap pick up the change on their next refresh; they check every 15 seconds. You don’t need to publish a new design to change a price.
Can different screens show different taps?
Yes. Each screen can show all the venue’s taps or a selection in your chosen order. Designs are independent too: changing one screen doesn’t change the others.
What if the internet goes down?
If the menu has already loaded and the browser allows local storage, the screen can show its saved version for up to 24 hours after the last successful refresh. It displays an offline notice. Beer and price changes arrive when the connection returns; the old menu is hidden after the cache expires.
Can I preview a new design first?
Yes. Save a draft and open its preview. The selection and design reach the TV after publication. History lets you return to a previous design while keeping your current beers and prices.
